PURPOSE
The aim of the Chemical Technology Program is to train
intermediate professionals equipped with the fundamental knowledge of chemistry
and the skills to conduct chemical analyses, as required by our country and
market conditions.

Professional Knowledge and Skill
Development:
The program aims to equip our graduates
with the ability to operate and control equipment involving fundamental
theoretical and applied technology in their field of chemistry. Therefore, it is
essential for chemical technicians to possess the ability to interpret and
evaluate data, identify problems, generate solutions, and analyze data using
the fundamental knowledge and skills acquired in their field.
Research and Application Competence:
Our program includes laboratory practice
in General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry courses.
Laboratory work aims to equip our graduates with the skills to conduct
research, implement, interpret, and report. Graduates embrace the importance of
lifelong learning, develop their skills in relevant fields, and apply their
existing knowledge to meet industry needs.
Sectoral Collaborations and
Entrepreneurship:
Graduates will be able to participate in
sectoral collaborations and projects within the Chemical Technology field. They
will also be able to pursue employment in the chemical field by implementing
entrepreneurship and career planning projects.
Social and Environmental Responsibility:
The program aims to equip our graduates
with a sufficient awareness of the universality of social rights, quality and
cultural values, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, and
professional ethics.
Career and Future Goals:
Graduates of the Chemical Technology
Program gain the ability to use relevant tools, equipment, and devices, and to
perform physical, chemical, and simple instrumental analyses. They can work in
industrial operations, quality control, and chemical analysis laboratories.
Chemical Technology-related units are found in all sectors of the food,
refinery, petrochemical, rubber, cement, paint, detergent, cosmetics, textile,
and pharmaceutical industries. Chemical Technology also plays a significant
role in the ceramics, glass, automotive, metal, mining, energy, and agriculture
sectors. In almost all industrial enterprises, production and quality control
departments are related to Chemical Technology, and our graduates will be
equipped to work in these areas.
