Career Development Seminar Held at Altinoluk Vocational School
As part of the Chemistry Week events at Altinoluk Vocational School, the career development journey was highlighted through an inspiring seminar featuring Psychological Counselor Yasine Buruk.
The seminar, titled “First Yourself, Then Your Career: The Impact of Self-Discovery on Career Development,” was organized within the scope of Chemistry Week and received great attention from our students.
The First Step in Career: Self-Discovery The seminar emphasized that a successful career is shaped not only by technical knowledge but also by the individual’s ability to analyze themselves correctly. Yasine Buruk discussed the key factors influencing career choices under the following headings:
Awareness of Interests and Talents: The importance of discovering one's potential.
Strategic Goal Setting: How to define the right goals while advancing in one’s career.
Personality and Profession Fit: The advantages of self-awareness in career development.
The event took place in an interactive atmosphere and concluded with a pleasant Q&A session where students had the opportunity to ask their questions.
Presentation of the Plaque At the conclusion of the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Züleyha Özer Arslankan, Head of the Chemistry Technology Department, presented a plaque to Ms. Yasine Buruk in appreciation of her valuable contributions.
