Advisor Student Meeting Held with First-Year Chemistry Technology Students
An advisor–student meeting was held with the first-year students of the Chemistry Technology Program at Balıkesir University Altınoluk Vocational School.
The meeting was conducted by Lecturer Duygu KILIÇ, the academic advisor of the first-year students of the Chemistry Technology Program. During the meeting, students were provided with general information about academic processes. In addition, information was shared about seminars, technical visits, TÜBİTAK project opportunities, certificate programs, and opportunities for developing professional skills.
Furthermore, post-graduation options, opportunities for completing a bachelor’s degree through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS), and expectations related to professional life were discussed.
During the meeting, the importance of internships for professional development was emphasized, and students were informed about internship dates, application procedures, and the rules that must be followed. The meeting concluded after the question-and-answer session in which students’ questions were addressed.
